Journey to the Cross – Outro

The Word

25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

This journey to the cross series at CLC has gone through months and has included adventures, revelations, hard times, pain, sorrow, happiness, joy, and celebrations. Who knew that a virus would keep us all separated for all the months that this series has gone on? Then for us to finish with a night of worship in our cars. This is a journey that we will never forget.

I pray that you have gotten the chance to truly reflect on the life of Jesus through the eyes of John. To look beyond yourself and to see how much our Father in heaven loves us, oh how he loves us so!

John wanted to tell us so much more about Jesus, but he didn’t have the paper and time to do so. To think that John only had three years, three times three hundred sixty-four days! Each one being full of miracles, healing, teaching, and awe. This experience was life changing and we only get a small glimpse of what John wrote down. I believe these starter posts could have exceeded what we wrote had we truly delved further into the scriptures. We could only provide a taste of John, and John could only give us a taste of Jesus.

The disciples went on to spread the message of the good news throughout the world. Will you do the same? Will you take what we learned in John and truly apply it to your life? Sharing the good news is our mission and Jesus’ many rooms for us is the vision.

Starter Break

We will be taking a short break and will be back with more starter blogs. Please be ready to look for additional posts and thoughts.

Also, as it was hinted at earlier, you may see the series of John in a book format in the future!
