What I am I thankful for in 2016?  Everything.

I am thankful for my family.

I am thankful for my friends.

I am thankful for my mentors.

I am thankful for my health.

I am thankful for my calling.

I am thankful for my job.

I am thankful for my church.

I thank God for the way He made me, the way I think, talk, look, dress, and so on.

I thank God for shaping and molding me to become more like His Son each and everyday.

I thank God for His forgiveness.

I thank God for His grace.

I thank God for His love.

I thank God empowering His servants.

I thank God for Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Lamb of God, the Mediator, the High Priest, the True Vine, Great Shepherd, King of kings, Lord of lords, the way, the truth and the life, who constantly reminds me of His sacrifice on behalf of humanity, and includes those who are not deserving like me.

Today, I thank God for His goodness, faithfulness, mercy, grace and love for all that I am and possess.  May our God, the Creator of heaven and earth, and Jesus Christ His Son encourage you as you enter into the new year.  May the year of 2017 be the year that you encounter and experience Him more, and at the end of 2017 you are able to give thanks to the Lord for His goodness again, for His mercy endures forever.
